The trails leave at 9am on Saturday morning.

Jake and I will be out there saturday night, so we won't be running any trails. I still want to register to support land use and the Tin Benders, but I don't want to take up any spots on the trail lists since we won't be running one... how can I accomplish this?

You can go ahead and pre-reg for any trail, I'll make a note of it that you arent actually running and will leave an extra spot open for someone else. ;)

If you don't want to cook breakfast on Saturday check out the breakfast on Saturday April 24 at JV Community Center

Anyone that's at the Tinbender Jamboree on Saturday morning should head up to the JV Community Center for a great breakfast. They start serving at 7 am, it is well worth the drive over from Means, and you can get back in time for the run line up.

From the lakebed head out Boone Rd. to 247, turn right, go about a half mile to Larrea Rd. and turn left. The Community Center is about 2 miles up Larrea Rd. on the left. (Larrea Rd. is the only paved road in JV, you can't miss it)

The folks that put this breakfast on are the JV Improvement Association. This is their main fundraiser and they do it every Saturday, every week of the year, so mark your calendars for the next time you're at the Hammers too.

The folks of the JVIA live in Johnson Valley and they like it (believe it or not) even more than we do! Most of them are 4 wheelers too!

So do your part and support the local economy.

ps Mustard Dog & Robert Foster were there the Saturday before KOH and the JV folks are still talking about them. "The racers said this, the racers said that," you'd think that they were celebrities or something. LOL

They really love our support and I make an effort every time I'm out there to go. I strongly encourage everybody that wheels the Hammers to make the couple mile trek out there on any Sat and support them:)

I am so sad to say this. I won't be able to make it out there for this trip. Several things are getting in the way. I can push all of them aside except for the fact that my wife is super sick. She has been on and off work all week. I was planning on leaving early tomorrow morning. It was just me and her. I couldn't get anyone else to go with me. It is going to kill me seeing what I will miss. It is down to it and I have to make this decision. I was really looking forward to this. :(:(:(:(:(
