Used parts = 1/2 orig. purchase price.
Especially on 4x4 parts.

I don't agree. I thing more like 65-70 % due to labor included in installation. Just my .02

No offense to anyone here, but that is precisely the reason I would depreciate the parts that much - because they are ring & pinion gears set up by unknown persons. RockRat (whom I am familiar with) did not say who set the gears up so I error on the side of caution. Also, it is unclear whether he has two 3rd members (aka chunks) to sell, or is it only the carriers, lockers, and gears?
PS - "purchase price" includes labor ;)

To clarifiy I have 2 chunks front and rear they dont even have the full break in period on them and I set them up. Ive been setting gears up sice 87 and have all the equipemant to do it properlythey both have lockers both have 4:57 I was considering $250.00 a pc.

Sounds like reasonable place to start to me. Give it a shot, you can always come down. Gears and lockers are on everyone's list, and not that many people can DIY the gear setup, so there is value there IHMO, if you can make buyers comfortable it was done properly.

Original price / 2 = Used price
I usually price all my used in good condition parts at 50% off new. I dont pay labor on stuff and wont pay you more because you did.....If i have to pay more than ~50% to get somthing i can easily get new its just not worth it IMHO...
just my .02.....

Are these for sammi axles or yota axles? I would be very interested if they're for a sammi.
Would you consider $425 for both?
Thanks,
Ty

Rockrat, I tried to pm you but it said that your box was full. How about $500 for both, including shipping to 47854?

I see your point :D That being said I just sold front and rear 3rds with 5:38 Yukon gears for 300.00 (for the pair, no lockers) So did I get over?
