Now, ok this is just driving me nuts........ i have different turn signals than stock, front and rear, but the problem is when i put the turn signal on it blinks really fast like when either the front or rear bulb is burnt out, but there not, there all working....... but it blinks like its on crack..... yet when i put the 4 way flashers on they blink normally........... what the fawk is going on......... its driving me fawken nuts........

thanks guys........:D

The lights that you added are most likely not drawing as much current. Your stock flasher is larger than needed. If they blink slow, like they do sometimes when you add a trailer you add a heavier flasher. So it would make sense that you need a lighter one.

Are you sure you are not thinking backwards? If so answer me this...If you loose a bulb why does it blink faster? Because you are drawing MORE current? I doubt it. One blown bulb=1/2 current or twice the speed.
I think you need a larger light Mud.

I had the same prob on my 85 toy. Fixed it with a Wagner 552 flasher. My stock flasher was a 3 prong so i had to mess with it to make the 2 prong wagner work....

Yea if you lose a bulb you are using less current and it will blink faster. add more bulbs like a trailer more current blinks slower.

I run LED turns front and rear and it does blink pretty fast but not crackhead style. one thing I do have a problem with is my emergency flashers.....when the inspection tech asks me to turn them on, I just stomp on and off of the brake pedal lightly :) anyway.....

I've got the same problem.
Running the 2" round markers (like tractor trailers)
in front.
I checked NAPA for a heavy duty flasher, they had none.
Mine's a square 3 prong.
I originally planned to tear apart the flasher and mate it with a traditional heavy duty flasher. I passed inspection, and hadn't thought about it since.

I had the same problem, I had to wire them to the higher output lights. moved the low output ones to brakes with a 3rd brake light from a tracker which fits nicely.

Ya I know it's a :rainbow: spare.

Heres the other lights

Middle to brakes, outsides are dual filament, brights to flashers, lows to running lights.

My buddy put LED's in his 1 Ton and it flashes fast as if a bulb was burnt cuz the LED dont draw fawk all. :D

Yea the Samurai flasher works backwards from most American stuff, it blinks fast then the load is too small. I got an 'electronc' replacement from AutoZone. It was better, but still a little fast, so I openened it up and added another cap to the timing circuit. Just double the value of the one in there. Go to Radio Shack and get one just like what's in it, and solder in parallel to the existing and it will work just fine!

You can do the same thing with a resistor to add load, but you need one about 10 ohm and at least 10 Watts. That's pretty big and will heat up, so you have to be carefull. Probably more work than it's worth....

ok, thanks guys, the front lights are pretty small bulbs, there about the size of the side marker light bulbs........ i guess i'll pick out a stock set out of the barn and bolt them behind the grill where i have these new ones now........
thanks alot...... it makes alot of sence now...........

You have 3 options:
1. Replace with larger bulb.
2. Replace flasher unit
3. Add a resistor in line with the turn signal to draw more amperage.

You want something really weird, try this: (Works with Zuks and Toys)
Unplug one of your tail light assemblies. Whenever you're on the brakes, the turn signal indicator for that side (the little green arrow in the dash) will light up. Not blinking, just stay lit whenever the brake lights should be lit up.

i'll take option #1:flipoff2:
