No I havent even heard of it. I ride stonyford mostly but due to fire damage they would prefer people stay out for now so that was why I was goin, but didn't go, to Forrest hill. So now that it is Sunday how did the ride go? I is supposed the rain this week and Sunday is the only day I will be able to ride so I will be going that day some place.

So sort of near the Belden area? I have some club members that have ridden over out of Belden and they said it was some of the best riding they have ever done. I am looking forward to the rain.

I don't know of anyhting in the Eldo area but Mace Mill "Georgetown" is a realy good place to ride. Some of it is realy tight, most of it has rocks, and lots of hills. Stonyford is up I-5 about an hour and 15min. and then an hour to get to but it has some realy kickarse trails. I like it the best due to the trails are 2nd-4th gear most of the day. I ride a KTM 360 or 440 so I like to be mooven:-) Clear Creek is also called Colinga since that is the closest town. It is 66000 achers of big hills gnarly tight stuff and loamy hill climbs that just eat the small bikes. It is awsume but you need to go with someone who knows the area because there arn't many signs to tell you anything. I am looking forward to doing lots of riding and maybe some races but after the ride on Sunday I can say my 2 year layoff form riding has hurt my performance. I suck. I might be able to compete with the C riders but that is about it right now.

I have never ridden Stonyford which I hear is pretty good. Do you guys ever ride Middle Creek up by clear lake ? that place is pretty good with some great stuff near the top of the road. Also there is some good ridding going down to RENO by Boomtown that has some unreal trails once you get over the dry area and it dumps you into lush single track that goes towards Susanville. Moving from San Jose area Clear Creek was the weekend ridding area for the most part. We usally go in the back side into the New Idrea entrance it puts you where there are less people and better ridding. I am actaully going up there the day after thanksgiving ( friday with about 100 + friends tha tgo everyyear for the past 10 years ) The nice thing about going in the back way is that you never see any rangers unless they drive the trails all the way back. Does you guys know of any semi sectet spots to ride in the area ? Don't know if you guys have seen the latest Fox Terafirma 7 but the Quarry was in my back yard so I would go riddin up there everyday and the trails were unreal similer to a Clear Creek area.
Anyway if you guys want to go ridding let me know
