View Full Version : how to put 3rd member back on??

posting this for my buddy.. he got 404 axles and when he took it out he got the spool stuff off first then took it out but now he want to put it back on.. but it wont go back on with spool stuff on.. but without that its peice of cake.. so whats the trick?? what is the best way to do it??

hate to bring up a old post but.........
i need to know this also.
is a 404 mog rear. somewhere i read that you need to turn it 1/4 of a turn CW. but , there must be more to it than that. cause thats not working.
HELP.
