Petti 03-15-2010, 01:40 PM Currently have a QA1 3/4 shank 3/4 eye heim on the pitman arm of my drag link, but it doesnt allow full use of my suspension travel due to its limmited misalingment angle. links are 1.5" .025 wall DOM. Thoughts? chadjans 03-17-2010, 07:42 AM Drop pitman arm? Are you using high misalignment spacers on both sides of the heim along with a safety washer? I usually up size the heim to a 7/8" x 7/8" with some high misalignment spacers to reduce the bore size to 3/4". Chad CrashKnott 03-17-2010, 09:06 AM ding ding ding!!!...exactly what chad said! The strength of the joint will go up too. Hi-misalignment spacers will allow the joint to rotate ~10 degrees. | |
