I read this somewhere, thought it was here, but now I can't find it:
I read that the '95's had issues with battery drain from the stereo while sitting. The common "prevention" was to pull the disc magazine out, as I recall. Can anybody clue me in here? The PO of mine had pulled both fuses, one 15-amp, and I think the other is a 20-amp.
Learning experience: one fuse is in the main bank under the steering column, the other is in one of the "satellite" banks. Why (2) fuses?
I re-installed the 15-amp fuse, no stereo. I haven't bought a 20-amp fuse yet. The PO said the stereo worked fine. Again, why (2) fuses, and does anybody remember how to prevent/avoid the stereo-induced battery drain?
