Just found these lockers and have never heard of them.
Anyone herd of them or know what they are like?

Never heard of them suckers .FWIW I'd be leary of that locking dog ,considering the distance the locking pins are from the centre line of the axle .The pins aren't even fully enclosed on the carrier ( bottom left pic ) .Can not imagine that the pins would engage unless you are at a near standstill ,otherwise you'd bend/tear them off . Seems to me that a crawl ratio of 50-1 or better would soon have them pins flexing because of how far they are from centre line of the axle . Not even going to discuss that gay salsibury diff with that rock catching actuator .

I've been wondering about those lockers, too. I know that the guys at Killer Axles make ... uh ... killer axles. They make 300m unimog shafts, and stuff like that. I've heard they're the shit when it comes to axles that are unbreakable. I wish I knew more about that locker. The owner of the shop is a member here but I think he is on vacation or something right now. He's due back on the 14th. If this thread is still alive then I hope he'll chime in.

fugly 2 I understand your concerns about the locker, but if there where an problem with the locker (break or bend) we would not give a five year warranty ! When the locker is engaged the pins are fully enclosed (no flexing pins) ! The cover is rock catching like the new detroit electric locker, but we are working on a new mechanism (fully protected ) ! Also is it very easy to build a skid plate for the vacuum actuator !

Vaccum operated.....How much extra is the switch and such for theses lockers on top of 689?
Are you using the engines vaccum to operate these?
