buy a jd2 or protools.

williams builds some ok stuff. seeing how it is about the same price as a jd2 i would stick with the jd2. you are more likley to know others with a jd2 and then you can borrow dies. other than that i have used jd2 tools and they are fine.

I agree, buy the JD and you'll be happier. My buddy bought the Williams unit and has 3 or 4 dies, and he wishes he had bought the JD style (now that he has so much invested!) The problem with the Williams unit is that it is too slow and it only allows for 90 degrees of bend. Also, no degree wheel for consistant bends side to side.

We have a JD 2 at my work, and it is much better!

I've got the JD-2. Had some minor fit/fitment issues. They 2 day aired me replacement parts, with just a set of digital photos to define the problem.

They stand behind their stuff!!!
