My radiator took a puke last night in my 4.3l chevy YJ. Anyone have part numbers for a aluminum radiator that will fit with little modifications in a YJ with a chevy swap. Yes I did the search.

Call up Summit or Jeggs. They have bolt in Bee Cool radiators for 495.00 bucks.

I had no problem cooling with a simple 2 core brass radiator, not sure I need the bling bling BCool one, but thanks. Was looking at Griffin Radiators, anyone have one of those in a YJ with a SBC or 4.3l swap?

Yup, Griffin all the way, $180 from Summint, measure up and order the biggest on you can fit. I've got on in the CJ grille on my YJ with the stock 4cyl, tow of my club members have them in YJ's with 350's, and two others have them in CJ's with 350's, all work very well. Just need to weld a couple small aluminum tabs to the tanks and bolt it up.

Kinda glad this came up again...

What's the largest size that you can run without doing "TOO" much cutting to make it fit???

Also, is there a Particular vehicle that you can pull one out of that is a good fit? Chevy truck, Caprice, etc??

Love to hear the ideas.... Like to save money even more :D

I measured what I have in there now, and it is 22" tall and 20" wide with about 6 more inches I could go wider. That is without cutting any crossmembers or anything else. I would think that would allow enough cooling for even a big block. I believe the largest problem Jeeps have for cooling is airflow. The grill just doesnt allow much air through, especially with a winch in front.

Thanx for all the replies.
