I need a shop to cut out a plate and weld it to the bottom of my shaved 14 bolt? Any recommended/decently priced fabrication shops in the Denver area? I'm in Aurora.

Call Lee at Dino Diesel. 303-688-3611 Located in Sedalia. I don't know how cheap but his welding/fab skills are second to NONE! Check out his Mog axled rig while you are there. He is real busy right now but may fit you in. :D

don't mean to steal your thread, but I'm interested what you'll have to pay to get your shaved diff capped.

anyone else had a shop do this work? how much was a normal charge? thanks.

If I had a good way to make a nice cut on thick plate I would probably just do it myself. I suppose I could just cut out a template and take it into a shop. What do you guys think about 1/2" plate?

I'm also thinking about getting the ring gear machined down, but at this point I'm thinking it's not worth it.

How soon ya want this done? I have a plasma that will cut 1/2 and also have oxy/ace set up. You make a template and get the steel and I could cut it for ya. I will be in Moab all next week though. :D

My uncle lives in the Aurora area, he has a custom fab shop that makes snow plow stuff. His name is David Bacon, his shop is called Mother Trucker, if you mention that Brady told you to go there you might get a discount.
Good luck, if you want the number I can give it to you but i dont know it off hand.
