There was a thread about trannies on not working on the side...Had a thought about brazing a spider type pickup system ?? anyone done it ?? What about a accumulator for an AT trans?? Put a rollover valve on the vent tube and I would think an AT would at that point work upside down.... Not sure though..
I ask because Im taking out the sm420 in trade for a th350 for comp's

The extra pick-ups are a good idea, but if one is sucking air will that stop the suction action for the others? The problem with running an acumulator is how to plump it into the system. Might work with a pressure sensor and solenoid. You are going to need a good amount of capacity. You will also need to install some sort of pressure bladder, with the tip over valve closes and the acumulator dumps, there is going to be a lot of pressure in tranny, bye bye seals.
