: Rear End Wobble

I am getting some bad lateral movement from the rear of my
Samurai.

It has coils with a three link suspension.
I have been running this setup for about 5 years now
and it has not been to bad.

I have only broken one heim joint, "lucky me"
but it rendered the rig almost useless for driving when it broke.
It defiantly is the week link in the suspension .

In the upper link section where it ties into the diff I sleeved
the tubing, and treaded it for angel adjustment. (Hard to picture I know)
It is really starting to egg out and make the back end wobble.

If I weld the sleeved part solid keeping the heim joint
will it still work, and will it be ok?

I have a photo, but don't have a red star.

Lastly: I am aware of the missing jam nut on the heim joint in the photo.

Can someone please help me out?

Thanks

Well, you should do something, ICBC issed a warning saying only heim joints in manufactured kits are accepted. It on bc4x4.com So if you get in an accident they may not cover you.

It passed a vehicle inspection last week.

Thanks for your concern.

As for the suspension question?

Thanks

Thank you for your so-called help.

All you said was to go 4 link instead of 3
That's not much help.

Perhaps for a better suspension setup it might be.
However it doesn't address the problem I have encountered.

try a panhard bar (if you dont already have one) .or get a host like webshots so we can see the pics , cause I dont really under stand you setup from your words.

Well

I don't have to worry about it after all I scored a D44
for the front and rear.

I will take your advice and go 4 link.
I wanted to do it for a wile now just didn't think it was necessary.

There is a shop not to far from my place the will sell me
the chromoly tubing rod ends... for cheep.

This time I will go larger bars and ends.

Thanks for your help
