interesting... have a buddy with FJ40, 4.3 and sm420 and was running 4.10's and 33x14.5 boggers, towing a trailer and getting 20mpg with his.

hoping mine will do better than the 22re I had! Once it get it on the road I will post up.

Tire size prolly a bigger factor than 22R/4.3L. I don't drive mine on the street enough to accurately calculate mpg. But with a 4.3 TBI and 38 TSL's @ 3 psi it probably ain't stellar.:laughing:

4.3tbi, th350 with 4.88s and 37s I was filling up quite a bit

Im gettin between 15 and 19.... seems to get better mpg when at high speeds. So just haul ass everywhere.:flipoff2:
