: What heat resistant fasteners to use(turbo related)

I pulled my header off and turbo to have them surfaced...When I put it back together I used Grade 8 (the goldish colored ones) bolts and those high heat 'castle' like lock nuts if you know what I mean. I drove for about 10 minutes before I heard super exhaust leaks, which turned out to be the bolts had all let go, snapped right in half! Prior to the grade 8 bolts I used Socket Head Cap Screws (black in color) should I go back to black socket head cap screws?

any other suggestions on high heat resistant fasteners???

Thanks

i think stainless fasteners are the go on exhausts.

use the stock toyota ones and don't over tighten them.. they are breaking because they where too tight more then likely.. I buy the one from toyota everytime I need them and also if there is any ? on the htead threads helicoil them.. I also always use the toyot locking nuts.. this is your best bet
