Ok just got a basically free set of one tons :D from a 94' ford. They are goin in a 79' F-150 that we are building a three link/ radius arm style front suspension in. Hoping to only go up about 4 inches and run some 39 inch boggers that I have. The question I have is for the rear axle if im going to run these boggers they have a 15 inch wheel and I dont know if they will fit over the drums. Will they or am I going to have to grind them or just go to disk brakes? I cant remember the backspacing on the wheels that I have either.

A disc brake conversion is usually cheaper than rebuilding the drums!! I know it was for my 14B FF. And it's money well spent for a truck with Boggers on it (mud and drums don't mix well).
Post pics of this project. I'm in the process of putting a 60 in my '79 F150 with 39.5" Boggers as well.

They should fit over the drums just fine. Not sure what brakes the '94 had in front, but 15" rims won't fit over the dual piston brakes on my '79 d60 without a ton of grinding on the caliper bracket. I can't remember if my rims have 3 or 4 inch backspacing.

Ya I knew I would have to grind the front quite abit but didnt know about the rear. Also does anyone have any bad things to say about the deaver superflex springs?

Nothing but good things about Deaver!! I ordered Deaver Superflex 4" coils for my truck because of all the good things I've read about them. I haven't installed and tested them yet though. This spring I will be.

Ya and I cant decide if I want their rear springs to or if a want to go four link. Were building a custom flat bed for it and I would like to still be able to throw a fourwheeler in the back at times.
