: what is the thickwest wall dom a jd4 can bend?

anyone know what is the thickest wall DOM that a jd 4 can comfortably bend. I couldn't find it on their web site. using 1 3/4 die if that helps.Thanx

Brian,

I've heard of psycho's bending 2" round stock in them with out them/the die breaking....I have heard of some of their die's letting go on much less than that...I've pulled .25 x 1.75 through my JD3 w/o hydro...If that helps.

i have bent 2"x .250 wall but it strained the shit out of the bender be careful and lube the hell out of the dies . jd says .120 is tops
but that is to cover their arse .

They told me one of their distributors demo's it with 1.5" solid. :D Thickest DOM I've bent is .156 wall 1.75" w/ no prob at all.

I've done several bends on 1.75" OD .375" wall...no problems.
