No help in chitchat - anyone familiar with the Millermatic 35? Got a line on a used one, wondering if anyone has info on it. Searched the web enough to find that it came out in 1971, and parts are
still available.

Call Eric at Fat City. I think he has one and it works awesome.

I have one, works fine for me. Parts are a little hard to find, but they are easy to work on. And of course they are a bit cumbersome.

the 35 model is just an older version of today's newer 180 machine. the circuitry might be a tad older in design, but those
machines still are just perfect for welding. if you're getting it for
around 800 or less, it's a good buy. (unless it's been beat to
death in a high-production shop since it was new)
in my opinion, I'd much rather buy a used industrial-quality
welding machine, than a new "home-owner" rated machine.

BTW, I own a miller 200 mig, which was the machine that
replaced the 35, and mine is prob 25 years old, and still
works perfect everytime....
