What's the difference between a dually FE front 60 and any other front Chevy 60? What does the FE stand for??

Thanks chevy guys!

I'm not familiar with the "FE" you're refering to, where did you get "FE" from? What did the front end come out of?

fe stands for front end. I was just a bit confused. The real question is that Im looking to buy a front D60 and was offered one from a dually. I think he writes it up as a fe dually d60. So Im assuming it is a front and that its out of a dually. Wondering if the size is going to be any different.

I believe that the hub is different in the dually to make it wider for the wierd offset dually front wheels.

alright, Ive been confusing enough. Ive got a sub, 90, rear corp 14, runnin 35 for the moment, broke my front 10, looking to replace, thinking d60 35 spline is the way to go. I know hubs are going to change, but if i go with a dually axle is there anything else I should know. Or should I avoid it. Would save me $100 or so. Thanks for the help all.

Unless you run hummer rims the 4" wider offset will push the rims out way too far. You can machine the hubs down to a "standard" offset hub but it's going to cost you about $100 bucks plus your time.

Spend the $100 more and get the standard front end and save yourself some hassle.
