How much side load can your joints and rod ends take before pushing the ball through? Thanks.

Over 20 tons after trying my hardest to push one apart tonight...

Was that the joint or the rod end? So I guess it is safe to say that they can be used on the same plane as the axle (side to side, instead of up & down) if it were used in a wishbone link to center the axle? I have thought they would be o.k. but I did not want to try and destroy the ones I purchased to find out. Any pics of the attempted destruction? Thanks.

Either joint will hold up to an axial load. I tried to kill both, but the 2.63" Ballistic joint ball just mushroomed and the part stayed intact. The billet rod ends uses a hardened ball, so I'm not sure what would give first, but I do know that the 20T press was not enough to even phase it.

Sweet. Thanks for giving us a destructive test to answer!
