colin's is the bigger of the two. Colin's measured 38." My brothers measured around 31" iirc

You can tell the fish that is headed up the columbia, oppose to the fish that is headed to the willamette. The fish on the left has a deeper red color, and is headed up the columbia.

Me and another guy both caught natives, and had to release em. Still fun though..


Today might be the last time we go out on a weekend...

Too many assholes come out on the weekend. Basically it is the bank maggots (us) against boaters.

Early this morning, I was almost sure there was going to be a fight. There was 2-3 boats that were talking shit, while we were getting our lines set. We called their bluff, but they never came ashore. Fuck em. There is plenty of river there, its the godamn Columbia for christ sake. We use a boat to tow our lines out, about 100 yards offshore. There is atleast another 400 yards across the river, ATLEAST. The cool thing was, out of the 67 boats we counted, we only saw about 2-3 fish on. We had 6 people on bank, and 5 fish hooked. 3 keepers, 2 natives, and one that broke the line before we could see what it was. So I guess we get the last laugh.
