Not the case itself actually, but the case cover is cracked on the right side of the bike. I haven't called to see how much anew case cover is, or if anyone has a used one. Would it possibly be cheaper to just have someone weld it? Also, as a temp. fix, would JB Weld be good solution? I want to be able to ride it this weekend. The crack is about 2 inches long horizontally and allows oil to leak slowly through it. It looks like when the bike was laid down on the right side, the rear brake pedal was hitting into the case, which is what caused it to crack. BTW, the bike is a '93 RM 125. Thx in advnce.

drain oil, clean it up real well and bust out the JB-Weld! It'll hold just fine. I would either replace it ot Tig it afterwards though. But by no means miss a day of riding because of it!

And while your at it... get a piece of sheet metal cut in about a 1 1/2 inch circle with a small bend on one side (to help it fit on the clutch cover) and epoxy that over the crack

The metal cover will help disperse the impact from the brake pedal.

I've been doing that to my bikes and to my friends bikes for awhile, with no more cracking problems
