Totten tube was decently priced and are in azusa. Tube service out el cajon was cheaper but not sure if they'll deliver to la.

I'll drive down there for the right price. How much is the 1.75" x .120 and 1.5" x .120" running.

well i had 200' of 1.75x.120, 60' of 1.5x.120, 40 1.25x.095 delivered for $790 on friday from tube service.

the more you order the cheaper it gets

I just finished calling around for quotes and since I used this thread to get some places I'll post my results.

I was requesting 200 feet of 1.5" x .120. Asked for quotes on both HREW and DOM. Results as follows.

For reference, on my 200' of 1.5 x .120 they were $1.15/ft for HREW and $2.50/ft for DOM

1.5" x .120" DOM 5 sticks $2.57 ft/will call

1.75" x .120" DOM 5 sticks $3.10 ft/will call

that's the difference between domestic DOM and imported DOM. competitive metals only carries domestic. they also have a much larger inventory and selection. their chromoly selection is pretty big.

Thanks Billybob, I am heading over to Comp Metals on Sat. anyway since I found out that they have a 12 shear and California Metals only has an 8 foot. I need a 2x10 foot long 3/16 aluminum plate for a work bench.
