I've got a 44 front with 6 lug small berring and a 10 bolt front with 8 lug small berring. Can I use the 8 lug 10 bolt parts on the 44 front to convert it over to 8 lug or will i have to find a 8 lug 44 donor to use for this task?

the interchange from spindle out so you'll be ok with the 10 bolt parts.

I it will work, but the big bearing spindles and hubs will be stronger

First off, you do not have 8-lug hubs-out from a ten bolt with small bearing spindles, doesn't exist. Check the inner bearing race on the spindle, small bearing is 1.75", large bearing is 2.00" Either way, yes, the 8-lug and 6-lug stuff will fit on the dana 44 provided you use the caliper mounting plate from the eight lug axle. If your six lug spindles are large bearing, then you don't even have to swap those, just slap the eight lug stuff on. If you six lug spindles are small bearing, you can sell them to Jeep guys looking to run Ford hubs on Chevy knuckles.
Second, no real strength gain is to be had from the slightly larger inner wheel bearing, and neither are prove to failure.
