DRTRAYDEUCE 04-01-2010, 08:47 AM sweetass!
JM93LiftedYJ 04-01-2010, 08:59 AM I think it'd be funny if I were to pull into the work lot with Mercedes and BMWs in that thing.
Nooooo.........Don't chop it up!!!! This is a perfect specimen and it must be preserved.:shaking::D
Are you going to post up a "how-to" thread on this one? I'd really like to see the process. I understand it's easier than the Deuce since the stock rear suspension is bolted to the frame vs. riveted.

Atchley 04-19-2010, 09:39 AM That thing is sweet. If I only had the money to throw around I'd buy it and have it bobbed
100dollarman 04-30-2010, 08:18 AM STILL AVAILABLE! Someone should snatch this one up!
We took it out for the weekend camping this last week--- we did get a flat tire, but other than that it ran great!

WILLTAKE 05-04-2010, 08:51 PM From personal experience in Iraq, I can tell you that these things are unstoppable. They drove into and out of stuff that hung up 916's, 923's, 931's, HEMETT wreckers and Humvees.
Any lines on an 817 (dump version)?
100dollarman 05-24-2010, 09:04 PM SOLD!!!:grinpimp:

A 5 ton dump was my daily driver back in my service days.
Whoever said that these are unstoppable is absolutely correct!
Plus, there is no prettier song than the whistle from the turbocharger on these motors.
Rekless_Off_Road 07-30-2010, 09:38 AM got any pictures of the 5 ton after it was bobbed ?

If Hundy still has one of these - somebody buy the damn thing. These trucks are fun as hell to drive, and the power steering on these turn the large tires with ease.
Hundy, mine needs a winch. Do you have any kicking around?
.
'05TJLWBRUBY 07-30-2010, 08:54 PM Awesome trucks there guys. I NEED one of these for the ranch-either a 5 ton or a M35A2C dropside. Be great for the property up in the hills, fencing and cattle duties. Anybody wanna trade for a '78 3/4 ton Chev 4x???
Seriously, nice rigs. One day I'll have one.
Best of Luck,
Mike
100dollarman 07-30-2010, 09:22 PM I am all out of winches rt now-- but I usually sell winch kits- $1500 for everything you need.
I have 2 M818s right now in the yard (actually 3, but one doesnt run yet).
A really nice M818 5 ton tractor 6x6 for $6500
A REALLY REALLY nice M818 (only 10k miles!) for $7500
I like the 5 tons! The power steering is awesome. And 53"s fit nice!:grinpimp:
Rekless_Off_Road 08-02-2010, 01:28 PM Very nice. Did you use 5-ton front springs for the rear?
