I see this section of the forum doesnt see much traffic... hell, I've never looked before either.
Started messing with my bike that I bought in 2000 today. It's a K2 Attack 2.0 that I paid over a thousand for if I remember correctly. Bought it after having two Giant's that I liked as well but wanted to go a little higher up. My brother has been using this thing for a while and it needed a few things fixed up on it so I decided with the weather getting nicer I'd like to start riding again.
I put on a new seat and new grips. Put new batteries in my LED blinking tail light. Some of the gearing needed to be adjusted and I took care of that as well, cleaned and lubed it all up, and filed some of the knicks on the front sprockets to keep the chain from hanging... trued up the wheels a little too. I found my bag thing that hangs under the seat but I couldnt find my radio so I'm on a mission for a mountable mp3 player with speakers or maybe just a decent little FM with speakers to keep me occupied. I refuse to wear headphones and be cut off from hearing the outside world.
While I was at the bike shop I was amazed at how bright and small the new LED headlights are... cheap too. Saw one I may pick up for $29.00 that recharges by USB that seemed pretty cool. I was amazed to see that some bikes actually have hyraulic disc brakes now and tubless tires  I guess I am way out of the loop.
at least I still have my dice valve stem caps:grinpimp:
