I got a new set of grips on my crf, tore the end off of one of them on the first trip out. While in the process of looking for new grips came across Zeta bar end caps on ebay for $15.

Then went to zeta's site to look into them a little more, apparently they have two kinds.

Standard kind (ones on ebay)

"Fits throttle tube and allows smoother throttle movement than standard bar end plug."

Its this part in the description of the swivel ones that make me wonder if these things are a bad idea.

I cant find much info on bar end caps. Anybody have any experience with these things? Will it mess up the feel of my throttle? Are they stupid looking?

I have those on my trials bike (well not those but the same idea)....... they work fine
