Ok guys, I did a search and did not come up with any thing. I am wondering how I can get a pierce on one of my parts to use as a center punch. I have used a small hole but I was wondering if there was a better way.

When I want a "pierce", I just use a small line segment.. like .010" long or so.. the torch will fire, pierce and lift. The short pierce doesn't seem to "harden" the steel as bad as doing a longer full circle.

I will give that a shot on Monday.
