: Nissan Patrol Questions?

Hello,

I don't normally post here, but I am curious about a Nissan specific item.

I am looking at getting a 1960's Nissan Patrol on trade. It is missing the top, and from looking at the pictures, I would say that it has been sitting for some time. He says it needs "minor work".

The mileage is low, and all the OEM stuff seems to be there. No mods.

About what are these things going for? I have been looking at a few websites and other places etc.

Picture a largely complete, stock Patrol, minus top.

Ideas on value? Parts worth anything? If I build it, I will have extras.

I may build it, I may sell it, I may stare at it!

Just don't want to pay to much on trade.

Thank you, ROB

If it "needs work" it probably needs some major body work. Unless they're fully restored and complete, they're not worth much more than maybe $2k....probably more like $1-1.5k.

Sadly there's just not much demand. :(

Post some pics.

Also, www.rmp-o.com is the place to go for all things Patrol.

I just watched a complete one that had some other issues go for around $1400 on Ebay. There is more to the story, but the Patrol would basically be a bonus on a trade that I am contemplating making.

My main thing was determining value. It sounds like it is the Japanese version of the Scout. No offense to any fans here of the mighty Scout. I had a pretty nice one of those that needed some mild TLC and couldn't get more than $300 for it......

If I pursue this Patrol, it will likely be due to my own interests.

It does not appear to be worth more than about $500 based on what I have seen and heard about. I will continue to do some research.

Thank you friends. I needed some direction and I think I have that now.

I know that...........I was meaning as far as value goes.

Don't want to PO the Scout guys. I like those things!

Thanks for the thoughts, I will see what comes of this.
