started on my diff cover it is 1/4 in steel plate

i think it will look good after i ground down all the welds

you don't have any assembly pics of the pieces you put together to do that do you ? is it 1/2" plate ?

Why wouldn't it fit, he has the shaving going around the ring gear, just like a ProRock.

Great job! Are you concerned with the weakened housing? It looks like Dynatrac reinforces the top of the housing with a buttload of metal. You could put a brace across the top.

i am going to put a brace over the top for my
4 link

the plate is half inch

and i cut the ring gear 1/8 inch

there is an 1/8 inch between the ring gear and the plate

Nice work flmanyj, did you stick or mig weld the housing? If you mig welded it what kind of sheilding gas did you use ?
