I am using some Ballistic Fab high steer arms on my D60 with chevy TRE's in my cj7 and I cannot get full lock to lock steering with the drag link hole being 8.375" out from the kingpin center. I am running a stock chevy astro van pitman arm that is 6.50" from center to center and my tierod and drag link are parallel right now.

My question is: Could I send the arms back to Ballistic to get them machined to match the angles and two new holes drilled with TRE taper closer to the kingpin? This would allow me to move my tierod to the new holes and the draglink to the hole that is 6.25" from the center of the kingpin an get full lock to lock steering before adding hydro assist.

I hope that makes sense.

I'd like to use the Ballistic Fab arms since they are beefy and I like the springless design, but not getting enough steering angle sucks on the rocks.

Thanks- Will

No problem, I recommend calling in and speaking with Will or Allen for that. Thanks - Jeff
