Some pics and observations of life with a welded front, and Michelin vs Swamper tires too.

Enjoy!

the paint job did wonders to the apperance of that thing! Looks like some cool wheeling, definatly something fresh to look at as apposed to the rock and more rock and sun and more rock........ pictures usually shown on here.

You know, just going wheeling with a few folks and having fun is quite OK, I'm fricking sick of rock crawling competitions, had my fill for a while, only spent 2 hrs. at the Super Crawl. Have fun and relax, that's the kind of wheeling we did today.;)

great write up.

comps are over rated. trail wheeling is where it is at.

agreed, the comps are getting irritating. And that wet traction wheeling is what seperates the men from the boys. Oh yeah and rockwells kick ass just to piss off bigdude!!!

Dayum that things sick!

As for competing...Im still debating if I ever want to compete, seems like it might be a rush, but at the same time I dont want to take the joy out of how fun trail wheeling is. What a rush and a kickback experience at the same time. :D

I don't know Bill, that looks pretty dry and high traction compared to last weekends wheeling in MN;)

Nope, it isn't extreme, but the kids like it.

That ain't all just mud pilgrim (moooo!)

Funny how they can irritate you when you don't even do them

By the way J111- Ask around about the new Nelson buggy and see what people have to say about rig weight and performance :D

Where is this trail located? It looks like a ton-o-fun.:D And also the wolf(looks like a sniper)looks good. How did you link the front/rear end? I see bronco arms in front but not much else on the axle end?

yeah, you should see the stares we got at the Mcdonalds on the way home. me and the 2 kids covered head to toe in stinky mud. "Sir, would you like that to go --- please?" :D

Just got the new harnesses in the back for the smaller kids, 2" dune buggy harnesses - fit much better on the little guys. last safty upgrade is some outer spreaders in the front, keep catching trees inbetween the front 2 hoops in the tight ravines.

A friend is bending some for me so that they stick out to the side and I won't beat my head on them.
