One of my carbs is spitting gas out every hole and dies. I took it apart and the float was fine. As far as i could tell. I am going to get the rebuilt kit, but was wandering if anyone has had a simalar problem.

just had the same problem last weekend. take the carb back apart and clean out the needle and seat. that should cure it. if it does not then just sell me your banshee for cash. I need another for the family.

Mudslut is right on here. Take the screw top off of the carb and make sure that the needle is sliding up and down easily. Pull the needle out and try it again. The bore can get gummed up and not slide easy. Also make sure that your needle is not sticking in the jet. From the bottom, make sure the jet is tight, has the proper washer on it and is not messed up. I stick the needle into the jet and make sure that it fits good and does not stick. The only time I have ever had the carb spew gas was when I forgot to put the washer below the jet. HTH
