Well after a long day of haggling with one guy about his 75 f-100 4x4, he wouldnt come off his price one bit, but he told me about his cousin who had an old 74 4x4 F100. I liked it so I got it. Now i have to bob the bed add some tires, a lift, and some other odds and ends.

It has an NP 435, dana 44 up front, ford 9" out back, dana 21 x-case, and a 390ci.

A sprinkler for antifreez, (Hole in Radiator)
A sprinkler for gas, (noticed this when i was filling up)
other than this its a great looking rig.

Any suggestions on how to change the Dana 21 to NP 203 or 205? (What do i need to do with the collar,, etc?)

Any other sugeestions,...
Other than gears, lockers and the basic stuff.

P.S.- will be used for mild crawling, and mud.

id run a 4 inch lfit, hack the fenders to fit 37s, run a dual transfer case from off-road design by hookin a 203 and 205 together, that way you have a deep low range for crawling, and a good high range for mud, and maybe relocate the radiator to the bed for better cooling, especially int he mud, ox locker in front, detroit rear, 4.56 gears, that way you have a good mid range, for both mud and crawling, and if you want an ultimate rig, exo-cage it and throw on a flat bed!

deffinatly not superlift, wild horses flex good and broncograveyard has some good springs....

definately lose the dana 21 transfer case

What size lift should I get, and would it be better to pieace it together or just get a package kit?
