So I was really stupid and let my 42x15x16.5 Rockers on 8-bolt H1's sit at 0-5 lb of pressure for probably a month back in December. They flat spotted so bad you could see it and they will not go away. I have not been able to drive it on road since then (and not had a chance for off road) and am starting to get extremely irritated. They are so bad that when the flat spots are in sync, you feel like you are on a pogo stick, and when they get out of sync, you feel like the rig is about flip off the road. I have not gotten it above about 20 mph cause I feel like I'm going to die.

So far I have tried driving it around the neighborhood for about 10-20 min each trip at 10 psi, 20 psi, and finally 25 psi. I let it sit on jackstands at 25 psi for about 2 weeks just recently, and they WILL NOT GO AWAY!

What can I do beside replace them?!?!?!?

You're going to have to drive them to get the tires to heat up and round back into shape.

I would air them up to the posted max psi and drive them around the hood.

This is good advice, and next time you park, max out the air pressure.

Air them up & ride em on the road, they will go round as soon as they warm up a little, they wiil be just fine. Don't leave sitting deflated, leave 15-20' of air in them

tires heat better when you can drive on them. max the air and go find a freeway. lots of heavy brakeing and accelerating on the way there.

Tires build heat at low psi and higher speeds. He already tried to warm them up at low speeds. He needs max psi to force the tire to be as round as it can and the get the heat built up.

Should trade me your headache for some new 38.5 boggers.

Yep, inflate and drive around get them warm so they get round again. Store on jackstands or keep them inflated to keep them round.

I bought some 37 inch super swamprs that sat for a year or so and ther was multiple flat spots. but driving it for about a week seemed to get them round again:D it was not a very fun week though!!!

Did a 40 mile trail ride this past weekend, by the end of it I could get up to speed and all seems to be better. I wil not be leaving them for looooong periods of time with loooow pressure again.
