I have family in Denver and am planning a trip in August, about 4 or 5 rigs. I was hoping there would be some locals that could help out with some good local spots. None of us will be street legal so they would have to be trailer to trails. We are looking for someone to show us around and wheel with!
Thanks!

i wont be around when you guys come as im overseas but check out independence trail system in colorado springs about 1 hour away for some hard trails. also check out buena vista to run carnage canyon then if you can get to grand junction or montrose at all there are tons of hard trails around there. well worth the 3.5 hr drive.

If you go to the Independence trail system at Penrose, be aware that you can be and will be ticketed if your rig is not currently licenced and the trailer and tow rig isn't either at the trail parking area.
We have had no issues with the law other than there in Penrose.
We have had a few tickets down there given to us right at the trail parking area. The nice friendly Officer was waiting for us to return to our trailers. :shaking:
No, there is currently no good wheeling close to Denver. It truly sucks around here. :mad3: Spring creek can be challenging in a stock rig, but built, it is a joke. You will need to go to Carnage, Buena Vista or Penrose for anything difficult.
