I plan on competing in the full body class....if for no other reason than to heckle Lisa...I need to make some sort of door bar. Was think something along these lines with them being removable since this is also my trail rig and I don't want to be climbing over everything all the time.

Cal Rocs would be great for you to start with. It looks like the car is rear stear so you would be in unlimited class. The event venues that cal rocs are doing this year are great natural rock areas. Hope to see you at some of them.

CalRocs ProMod class allows 40" tires, but rear steer puts you in unlimited. CalRocs mostly uses all werock rules as far as saftey items, fluid recovery, etc. You need a master battery disconnect, fuel shutoff valves, etc. Call Glenn if you have any questions.

I'll be there... in my Full Bodied Buggy, in the Unlimited class.

Just buy a damn firesuit.... no one cares if its too small:laughing:

Battery kill in the wrong location is close enough, and window nets are not required for Calrocs. So all that leaves is a couple ball valves for the fuel lines...and you have two weeks to do it;)

I'm with Brian, you got this. You don't need a full fire suit (unless I'm mistaken) but you need a fire jacket and a pair of pants (please don't wheel without pants :eek: ). For a battery kill switch I wired in an atv/jet ski switch to the center of my dash and ran the cord up to the front/center of the roof. If the cord is pulled the entire rig shuts down (fuel, electrical, etc.). It's super easy to wire in and works killer. I run 3 fuel shut off valves (in, return, vent). Each one is a small ball valve from the local hardware store with barb fittings and fuel injection hose clamps from Napa. And Brian is right, window nets ARE NOT required so no worries there.

If you are going to travel to an event and your rig is almost ready, then there is really no reason not to enter. It's a ton of fun, and as a driver you really get to push yourself. And you can't use the excuse of having too much to do to get ready. My rig is still in the process of being rebuilt. I'd like to cut the front of mine off and rebuild it before Reno. :D Plus a large list of other things. Last year we finished at 3am the morning of the first event and then drove there to check in. The more drivers that show up, the more fun the entire event is. And there is nothing like being able to drive your rig to the bar at the Ranch for a drink afterwards. :laughing:

hopefully my Ten Factory axle shafts will be here early next week, so I can get at least one run on the new front axle before driving 800 miles one way to find out that I forgot something dumb...

For those who havent been to the throne before it is the BEST natural course i have ever seen for technical and extreme challenges not to mention the perfect vantage point for spectators and announcing...I cant wait!

There appears to be a lot of new entries and even old favorites changing or adding cars to new classes so make sure to fill out your info sheets with all interesting info at sign up so that I know how to chat your team up to the crowd when the action starts. And dont be affraid to remind me in person of things you want mentioned, since I suffer from CRSD....(cant remember shit disorder).

You need to pick a number before you show up, that way you can get some stickers, or just bring a bunch of stickers with you, and take whats left??

If you already know what # you want, then post it up, and see if anyone uses that #... If you really want it, you can always add an X or something on the end of it;)

Our twins will be a year old on Friday the 14th! We will have cake and 1 year old party stuff if any competitors/spectators/fans w/kids would like to stop by and help us celebrate the twins first B-Day @ the Ranch.Dylan(boy) and Camryn(girl) Trent.Haha they are getting SO BIG and this time last year I was SO BIG LOL.

Well as of about an hour ago the final plans went into affect. Sara, f250rollinon37s wife, is taking my kids Friday morning and through the weekend now. I love my girls a ton, but this will take a huge stress load off of me for the weekend. This is good cause I don't just plan on driving for fun this year, I plan on driving to win. 3rd place last year just wasn't good enough. :D

Lisa, I do plan on stopping by and giving the Twins some BSW love.:D Just a wee bit of difference since I saw them at Donner. :eek:

Man that really sucks. But I know that if any little thing went wrong right now for the BSW Team we would be in the same boat. With the budget we have this year, a flat tire may keep us from an event.

I was out at the comp site today and the courses look great! There are so many good lines at the Giant's Throne! They also built a better access road, and made a nice big camping area. This should be a really good event!

Big thanks to the canadian guys for trying to help pull us out. Team F&S really appreciates it.
