Looking to get a Wheeler

But I don't even know what I am looking at...I am actually looking to get one for my wife and one for me...I have been checking out the Blaster, Banshee, and the Warrior but which is the largest and the smallest(or which one should I get for me and which one for my wife <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">)...thanks guys

Well I hope to do pretty much all kinds of riding from trails and stuff like that to the dunes...so a good all around one for now <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

the warrior is a good choice for all around riding. it would be suitable for both of you as its easy to ride but has potential to be fast also. plus if i remember right they have reverse where the banshee and blaster dont. if shifting is an issue go look at the polaris line.

I would agree. But Stay away from the Blaster they are cheap and very slow. Get your wife the warrior but in the sand you will want a banshee.
I tried to trail ride my first banshee ONCE and it sucked. My banshees never saw dirt again.

i have a few polaris quads and they're pretty fun. 400cc 2 stroke 4x4 and a 500 4stroke 4x4, auto shift, good suspension, but kinda heavy. Good quad for the wife and overall general trail riding. With the 4wd you can tackle the 4wd trails, hit the snow, mud, insane hill climbs, etc....places where all 2wd quads get left at home.

I have a Honda TRX400EX, and I love it! Good power, great realiablity, easy to ride, handles great, smooth power. The lack of reverse for me is nominal, just think a little ahead, and there are very few times that I need to get off and push/lift it around. At this time, I would advoid the Raptor, unless you want a high maintence ride. My buddy has one, and hasn't even come close to riding it hard, and the steering came loose, water pump came off, the chain adjusters are too weak, and need replacement. The Cam gears have been know to come through the top of the head, get it lean, and a backfire will blow the carbs off. It is a nice looking quad, and had incredable power, but that is about all. Ridden correctly, the Honda 400 can keep up easly to the Raptor, I do all of the time!

If you want a great all round ATV, get a Honda 400EX. It is a four-stroke, which is good for trail riding. But it has enough power to do the dunes as well.

Yamaha Raptor is another four-stroke with great power. It is a newer model, so it is a bit more expensive.

Warrior's are pigs. My friend had one, and called it "The Lead-Sled".

If you are looking for sand dunes only, the Banshee is a great one. You can pick these up used.
