Well, while everyone was out enjoying the supercrawl activities :( I was working my ass off.

Long story short.

Stock 1975 CJ6 frame:

This weekend, a buddy of mine and myself:

1. boxed
2. Strapped
3. new rear crossmember
4. Shored up front crossmember
5. outboarded front springs.

My wheelbase now is about 108" Should be interesting..... Here come some pics.

It's a miller 250, and yea, I noticed that splattery too. :flipoff2:

It was late, we were tired, and I think that's the only one. :D

I gotta go through it anyway and clean up some weld slag, haven't even touched that yet. I unloaded it yesterday, and didn't quite want to look at it that long. And after spending almost 14 hours on it, I wasn't about to grab the grinder for a while. :D

Looks excellent. Thats almost exactly what I did for my frame. I think the worst part of the whole job was getting the stock spring hangers off. Congrads on the frame it looks great.

Well, I was sure that was going to be a permanent accessory in your yard but I guess I was wrong. :flipoff2:

Nice looking frame. Looks like a fun buildup.

CJ-6's are really

What are your plans for the body?

I've got a CJ-8 tub that I'm gonna cut/weld/whatever to get it on there. Doing some preliminary measurements, I should be able to do the typical 'bob job' :D and it'll fit pretty well. The tough part is making some brackets for the body mounts to bolt to on the frame. But I'm sure I can do it.
