I have an Eaton rear with a Detroit in my 72 Blazer and I want to convert it to disc brakes. I did a search and found that 3/4 ton front rotors,calipers and brackets can be used. Do the brackets bolt on or does some fab work need to be done? What proportioning valve do you guys use? Finally, how do you adapt hoses to the hard brake lines. Any info would help. Thank you.

You weld on the caliper brackets. I am going to use an in-cab prop. valve on mine.
