Okay, I am getting pissed.

Hey you PUNK thieves. QUIT using our websites to make sales, take the cash, and not follow through with the transactions!

Let this be heard: Every person that I find out that frigging rips another person off by using our page for a sale is going to get permanently banned. So Keep that in mind before you take the money.

The only way to keep from this happening is make good the transaction you make.

We have ways to find out if something is an actual complaint and transaction has not been honored.

We are not responsible for what people do in their personal lives, but don't use our website to offer to sell something and take the money and run.

If you don't believe me...push me. I am getting tired of hearing this shit.

Go get them Kelly!

I sell and buy things off the 'net frequently, and have rarely had bad experiences. (Though yes, I have had 'em.)

The worst part is that when someone pulls this shit, it undermines the confidence in everyone else. Regardless, unless you know the seller, I always recommend using a service like pay-pal in order to ensure that you have someone to fall back on if you get ripped off.

A couple of guys on the S10-4X4.org site kept a record of their transaction in the Open Discussion forum so that everyone knew what was going on. There was no hiding what was going on so one person could not pull any of that "I never said that" bullchit.

And since alot of the people on the board here know at least one other person (if not hundreds of other people here) there is no reason why someone couldn't help persuade the one who is slacking to make good on their deal.

Just a thought.......

I wonder if there might be a way to add a user feedback section to the profiles......similar to what ebay has. I realize it could get out of hand with the jokers around here, but it could work.

Another idea to help identify bad traders:

How about a new section called "Bad Traders" down in the classified area?

It could be as simple as if you get burned, make a post with the user's name as the title. As more people get burned by the person, keep adding to the one topic of that user. Going this route, you have ONE post per bad user with numerous replies that expand upon how bad they are.

Way to go Kelly!

I almost got bit a couple times..... by users that no longer post. Funny they would be "gone" after one simple transaction, but it all worked out in the end, after a little pushing, and coersion.

you guys are forgetting somthing...

this is not just annoying and a bummer...it is a Felony, punishable by $10,000 + and a big prison sentence...

if you use mail, phone, wire to fraudulently obtain financial gain from another it is called....

MailFraud and it is a felony...and all the stuff on this board has been recorded and always will...

people that do this on purpose must die-off fawkers

the explorerforum.com site has a sub-forum in the for sale section for transaction feedback. Seems to work prety good for settling disputes and preventing further trouble.

I think alot of it has to do with common sense. Like...

How many posts does the seller have?
Has the seller sold anything on the board before?
Will he/she speak to you on the phone?
Are they a member of a club?
