WeBilt is doing a trail cleanup run to the first crossing on the 8th. We will be draining standing water and clearing anything that has fallen on the trail. There should still be snow up there. We are hoping to make it to the first crossing and if we can cross continue up the trail. I think the water will be high so if you try and cross be prepared. Maybe we'll see you up there.

Please remember to tread lightly and pull cable or use a strap.

I believe the gate is still closed at the Cisco campground. It usually get's announced on here when they open it. I just called the campground and their office is only open Wed to Sun so I'll call on Wed and ask. If the gate is closed the only access to Fordyce trail is Eagle lakes and Meadow Lake. You cannot take committee in or out.

Webilt rocks! Getting up there early to start work. FOF will be organizing a Memorial Day run which I'll be announcing shortly in a post detailing our yearly meeting held recently.

I passed by the eagle lakes trail head on sunday anything in the trees will be holding snow, exposed areas should be more open. The drifts from the freeway still look pretty deep.
On a warmer note the remainder of this week and into next looks hot 75*-80*

We were up there last week. All snow patches are easy to cross for the first 3 miles. There is a major ski run sized patch covering one of the long acending sidehills around the 4 mile marker. Looks like a few weeks just to get past that patch alone.
