Ive got a D70 with a big "B" cast on the housing is it junk?, and does anyone know where bom is stamped?

Even if its 23-spline, it will still be 1.5" shaft diameter. :eek:

The bom should be to the right of the differential (looking at the cover). It's possible there could be a shock mount covering it though. Here is a link to find out what it came with if it's newer than around '78.

How much did you pay for it?

I can get a rear Dana 70 or 80 for $800 bucks Canadian. Good Price or not? Both have 4:10 in them now and limitied slip. ???
