Here's the Email I got earlier tonight concerning 2 sets of military axles that I bought a couple months ago:

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I've about had a heart
attack.

The axles (all sets) were not shipped. I thought ABF freight had come to
pick them up but it's not the case. They were stolen. I truly hope this is
not the case and they're sitting where they were supposed to be shipped, but
none of the freight companies my brother in law called have any record of
pick up.

Of course the police have been notified, we've asked all the neighbors. My
brother in law has a claim in to his insurance company. I am at whit's end.

On top of everything else, my brother in law has been activated.

When it rains, it pours!

At least I get my cast off.

Give me a little time please, I will work this out. I've made arrangements
to purchase more trucks.

Ugh!

:flipoff:

Doesn't that just piss a guy off!!

Where is this guy located?
We've got a place down the road that dismantles and rebuilds surplus vehicles.

Unfortunately, Yes he was paid back in Aug.

the axles (2) D60's 35 spline w/4.56's & (2) 14 bolts w/ 4.56's & detroits were out on the East coast at his brothers place, he is in CA.

SilverZuk, PM me with some details about this place please.

The Axles were located up in PA or MA (somewhere up that direction)

I was pretty pissed when I got the news, now I'm just waiting to here if anything comes up, i suppose at the least I'll get my $$ back!

That is a great sob story, but really irrelevant to you.

Tell him to either refund the money, or produce replacement axles in a timely manner - end of story.

David, you do have a way with words. :D:D Short, sweet and right on the money. I couldn't agree more... And Hey, it didn't even hurt... :flipoff2: :D

I agree, what do you care what happened to the axles. They are not in your garage, so he owes you your money back. Tell him he has 3 days to produce the axles or your money or you will contact the authorities. He's commited mail fraud, over state boundries, that is a federal offense. I'd, also, let Kelly (4x4grrl) know. There is a post about this kinda shizzit at the top.

Well I talked with the 'seller' today, he's makin every effort to get me another 2 sets of axles delivered to me as soon as possible, or my $$ back.

$$ back would be nice, but I think I'd prefer the axles

& as a little late disclaimer, I never meant to imply that this guy stole them or was just trying to screw me over
(although it could certainly look that way!?)
I was just stating that I was pissed at the whole situation, I guess maybe i should of demanded immeadiate shipment when I purchased them, probably would have avoided all this hassle.

I left his name out of this , I'm not accusing him, just think its a fucked up deal all the way around!!

I'll keep you all posted as the saga continues....
