Where and what kind of trail re-alignment or they doing??

I don't know about the dozers but on Saturday and Sunday there was a bunch of hay up there I talked to a guy that was hauling it in. I guess they are using it to cover up some bypasses and prevent errosion. It looked like maybe some bypass blocking work was done around the gatekeeper too.

The trail is being realligned right at the top of the granite bowl to where the old part of the trail hits Ellis Creek. All of the lower section by the meadow is going to be blocked off. That is the area where the mud pits are every spring. The dozer work should be done this week so everyone will be going in on the new trail for the clean up

Joe, have you heard anything more about what they have
decided to do about the rest of the hay? Is the USFS going to
let anyone haul it in this weekend?
