When did this become a for sale section? This isn't just for singham either, wolfgang has been pimping his crap here since this section was made!! I know that when daniel tried to do that he got his ass chewed and he still gets his ass chewed. This is not a place to put advertisements, sorry, this is tech. I am sure your probably a good guy wolfgang, but your post was pretty dickhead, i hope it wasn't intentional.

Aggie, sorry for the commercialism. I had been reviewing the repeated posts of people asking for someone to quote prices. I guess I could have put a post here referencing a for sale post, but it seemed a waste.
Wolfgang - Glad your prices have come down............. {snipped by Moderator}

Singham, the post wasn't really to flame you, it was more towards wolfgang who tries to sell everyone his crap in this section. Someone asks if they can fit a 16.5" wheel on their mog axle because they are going to disks in the FUTURE adn wolfgang replys that he has a disk conversion kit and doesnt' say crap about fitting them on a drum brake axle which is what the post is asking. And if i were you i would be PISSED at him for posting crap like "We are the number one source for Unimog axles and axle parts." on your post. I'm sure he is just trying to sell his stuff and i'm sure its good stuff, but not in the tech section.

hey, i agree that this is not a for sale section, how ever, either wolfgang or Scott, I have a good 404 rear axle, and I dont need it, however, i do need a front axle complete. Please PM me and let me know if either of you are interested in a trade with a little cash on top.

come down
If a 16,5" wheel would fit on the drums, i would say it. I offfer the disc convertsion because itīs also the 8-lug conversion to fit the 16,5" wheel perfect. In my opinion it doesnīt make sense to rebuild the drumbrakes and buy a 8-lug conversion instead of using a disc brake conversion with the 8-lugs. Itīs almost the same price but you have better (disc) brakes with our setup.
Sure everybody like to sell his parts, but i always like to help people if they have questions and believe me i got a lot of e-mails with questions and this was the reason for this thread.
But the first thing i read in this section from singham was the offer of his crap. So donīt blame me.
And believe me also it is not the big business to make and sell the Mog parts, for me itīs more a hobby than a business because i like to develop and build new parts for the mog axles since i choosed to run these axles some years ago. I like to share these with other people and the more parts i sell, the cheaper i can offer the parts and that is also good for the customers and may be for you.
Thanks
Wolfgang

isn't one of the rules in the for sale section (which is where this thread should be) that no one is to underbid a seller by posting their own lower prices on the sam thread?!:flipoff2:
wolfgang: schleich dich! i don't think what you did is cool at all. start your own for sale thread and don't infringe on somebody else's.
don't get me wrong, we all appreciate your input and knowledge of unimogs and their axles, but we should all try to play by the rules!;)

Scott,
To me this sounds like a commercial post by you a vendor. Here at pirate4x4 we do not like that, Its called free advertising. If you are interested on advertising on Pirate4x4 Send an E-mail to Lance@pirate4x4.com, and he can set you up with a Banner or other options.
Thanks

Welding Demon's :flipoff2: reply would also refer to Wolfgang. Rules are no commercial advertising in a post. If asked you may reply to questions. So you guys (commercial vendors. This includes me) can't post a for sale thread then link it. If someone asks a question, like Where can I get Mog axles near Steve's shop Scott might reply he carries them and to call, Email, or PM him for details.

This was written before I became the moderator here. At that time there was no Moderator in this forum, Wolfgang has toned it down and been very helpfull and Scott Ingrahm has not posted ads in forums any more
I have mixed feelings. little guys... scraping to make a business work is one thing.
I dont know how big Wolfgang and Tibus is at the moment. Wolfgang does get a big agressive about sales on here. He does need to tone it down. No personal insult intended just a suggestion from watching Wolgang since he came on board.
My only real concern is if moderators are getting involved like now then things are out of hand and it is causing damage to the existence of this Mercedes forum and I helped start it and dont want to loose it.

Actually I am kind of sick of Wolfgang talking shit to every body that is selling the same stuff as he is.
I made a sale to a customer and wolfgang emailed him saying my parts are junk which is complete bullshit considering he probably hasn't ever seen them in person. I don't have any pissed off customers yet, and definitely no shattered axle shafts like another company I know of.
I will stop my post here because I am not the type of person to talk shit. I just want Wolfi to stop talking smack.

Don Henry
please stop writing scrap like this. I never told to one of your customers that your parts are junk. How the hell would i know who is your customer. But if somebody ask me by mail what my opinion is regarding the available parts, i will tell him.
What about your remark regarding "shattered axle shafts"?
I know for fact that can not be mine.
But you are "Don Henry" and you believe its allowed to you to make remarks like that. Is that fair to the others who like to sell their parts? I think not!
But if you know that some of my parts are a poore quality and you have the facts, feel free to write this on the board. I have no problem with that because it would be my fold if i deliver a bad quality and i have to try to do the best engineering and quality for the customer. It must be allowed to talk about facts.

Happy trails to those Moggn, & Benzo ride...n
:nuke: Just joined tonight after checking out the classifieds section. I thought this was going to be a different kind of site than I've viewed in the past, < to the point, non confrontational forum and such.> Thought I might actually learn about something I was getting interested in, ie: MOGS. First forum I check out after registering and look what I find, Same as the sites I was trying to get away from. Clean it up guys, rules are put in place and should be abided by for the benifit of us who have real interest about the forums we visit. Not putting anyone down here just a first time observation.

So can you exlpain to me BnTMike's winch advertising over in general 4x4 tech last week. I understand he gave one away to a member of PBB, but, sheesh, talk about pimping a business.
