: F250 Steering

I have a 1999 F250 SD.

the steering is all over the place, it feels very loose.
i would love to just replace the link ends but there all attached.

is there any company that sells aftermarket steering parts without buying a whole new setup?

Have you had someone move the steering wheel within the motion of play to see whats worn out exactly? My previous Superduty had a bunch of play in the wheel and it was the drag link end that bolts to the pitman arm. $25 from Autozone and it was good again.

yes,
it is the drag link but both ends are loose.

im trying to find an aftermarket one to replace it with.
any ides?

I made one once. You wont find much out there as it has an unusual joint taper and the drag link has to have that bend to get under the leaf springs.

If you have some arch to your leafs though, a straight link may work like it did for me.
