I was all set to order a Millermatic 175 and came upon a used Lincoln 250. I can't seem to find any information on this welder. Is it similar to the new 255? It has new leads and gun and the guy is asking $900. TIA

The local weld shop has em up here 1400 new if I recall, I know of some guys with em and they like em...maybe not as many controls as a miller but they do a good job...not to much difference between the 259&255...oh and sears sells em both also...catalog only...1359 in their book, looking at it right now...
I would get it for 900, and better if he is giving the tank with it also.....the 250 is a 30% duty@200amps and the 255 a 40% duty@250 amps....hope that helps....
