did chevs come with a rockwell tcase to sm465? I need the adapter between the two

or my other question how much bigger os smaller is an np205? I can find lots of those:rolleyes:

BTW by bigger I mean width, we just got the drive shafts done and Im wondering if it will bolt up.

Hmmm....not sure you'll find a rockwell case behind an SM465, if so it would have to be '68 or '69ish, they used the SM 420 prior to '68, and the rockwell cases behind those were divorced mounted, I think, at least the few that I have seen have been. Chevy also used the Dana 200 in that time frame, so that throws another wrench in the works. I'm not postive that the rockwell case was ever available in a married mount, and I'd just run an NP205 with an SM465 anyway, although I think you could probably come up with a divorced style mount for a Dodge 205 behind a 2wd SM465 or SM420 and end up shorter than the Chevy 205 to 465 adapter, that thing is stupid long. I know you could run a 1350 CV "H" piece between the trans and t-case, and that's only like 3" from joint to joint, but you'd have to mount the t-case so it could be slid back to install or service the intermediate shaft.
