wachtman 09-20-2001, 03:52 PM I have a t98 with a d20 in my 46 willys and the 90 wt. is going from the trans to t-case and blowing out the rear seal of the t-case. I have checked the trans vent and it seems clear(top turns freely) I am getting tired of having to fill the trans all the time. The T98 used old leather seals on the main shaft, if the tranny sat for any period of time then it will dry up. Just because the vent cap turns freely does not mean it is not clogged, remove it and check.
